Mission Statement

Friends of Jesus is a fellowship, open to all people regardless of social or cultural boundaries, including race, disability or economic status. Our purpose is to celebrate the Spiritual Life of every person through unique worship experiences, service, stewardship and mission to the larger community. Our goal is to make disciples for Jesus Christ and to build bridges between ourselves and other people.

About Friends of Jesus

Friends of Jesus is a ministry that reaches out to the  developmentally disabled and others who feel oppressed.  We celebrate our right to worship through music, basic Bible lessons, prayer, scripture memorization, fellowship and more.  We serve God through the love of our fellow man.  Like Jesus, we love all people.  As our theme verse says, we are all chosen by Jesus to be his friend.
